After Jim’s 2 solo trips to the beautiful rolling hills of the Palouse in Eastern Washington, we visited it one more time, and this time Magrit got to blow the dust off her FUJI X-T3 mirrorless camera. Our ubiquitous mascot Seppi happily came along as well (as you can see above).
2 weeks after Jim’s last visit, the whole area was now ablaze with miles of golden rapeseed fields, a stunning contrast to dark soil and bright green wheat. Here are images from our joint effort to photograph this amazing region which is rightfully called one of the 7 wonders of WA state.
We also would like to encourage you to send us questions you might have for Jim — questions about composition, post-production, equipment, etc. However, no dietary advice will be given. ;-) Use the comments box below or email us at jim@jimnilsen.com.
Fantastic images Jim and Magrit! Love the colors and textures!
Thanks Julie. How is the practice going?
Absolute stunning Magrit and Jim . . can’t wait to go there some day :-)
Thanks, IV.
What a beautiful landscape – what a great photographer!
Hey Sis. Did you know that those photos are mostly from Magrit?
